September 5th deadline for new scholarship

The Joseph F. Shelley Scholarship provides a mechanical engineering student up to $1,000.00 (as specified by the TCNJ Foundation) scholarship for one year. The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis, and priority will be given to applicants that demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the engineering profession, have demonstrated leadership qualities, have financial need, and a minimum 3.0 GPA in the major.

To be considered for the award, students must be majoring in Mechanical Engineering and be classified as a Junior or Senior during the year of the award (for example, interested sophomores should apply for their junior year).

The letter of interest should include the applicant’s overall educational and career goals, demonstration of commitment to the engineering profession including leadership abilities. Additionally, include information regarding any special circumstances causing financial need.
